Reflection and refuel sessions for thirty-something who go very fast and want (too) much: where do I stand? What is important to me? How can I bring balance into my life? You will come out of this two-day pitstop with new inspiration, reflection and renewed energy.
Future Leaders and the Bernard Lievegoed College for Liberal Arts together passionately present the ‘International Liberal Arts Program’. This is an adventurous, 6-month study program for passionate young leaders who want to make a difference in this world. A unique international program where students will be educated to become world designers that know how to create their own future. We start on the 14th of November 2011. First we will organise in-depth courses on subjects like politics, anthropology and philosophy. Then we head to inspiring India for practical research, where we will be working closely together with Indian co-students. The last months, back in the Netherlands, are organised around reflection and future plans.
This program has been developed together with VvAA and Amref Flying Doctors and aims at talented young students who want to make a difference in the health care sector. At university, students offered the necessary medical knowledge. Our Future Leaders programs are focused on practice. What is your role in the medical world? How can we reach more people with health care programs? How about developing countries?
Students from the Netherlands and from different African countries get to work on real life cases from Amref, under the guidance of mentors from the health care sector. Future Leaders Health participants learn that that it takes more then medical knowledge to build a healthy world and that connection, listening, co-operating, personal leadership and empathy are crucial aspects in this field.
